How Closing Works

Get pre-approved through a lending institution.
Buyer's Agreement: as of August 2024, Realtors are required to have a signed buyer's agreement in place before showing homes.
Property Profile: contact our office for a property profile on any home you're interested in — it gives you pertinent information on the property.
Accepted Offer & Signed Contract: send your signed contract to Orders@plta.net. Watch for a secure portal invite and pre-closing paperwork.
Deed prep is handled by a licensed attorney.
Once we have clear to close, our team will reach out to schedule your closing — mobile notary available for your convenience.
Signed documents are sent to the appropriate county for recording.
Once filed, we'll contact you (or your Realtor) to say congratulations — you're officially home.

Closing Protection Coverage indemnifies you against the loss of settlement funds resulting from acts of the Licensed Agent (or anyone acting on their behalf), subject to certain conditions and exclusions, including:
